T-Mobile – B2B Web Portal

OVERVIEW

In an effort to improve B2B sales, T-Mobile looked to create a new e-commerce platform to support corporate device and service plan sales. T-Mobile sought UxD direction to drive the entire experience design and architecture of a new web platform strategically positioned to drive revenue in an important business channel.

I was the sole UX Designer for this complex and extensive project. I was responsible for the design, documentation, and presentation of all UX artifacts, including wireframes, sitemaps, and userflows.

PROCESS

My design approach included:

  • Gaining a deep understanding of the existing T-Mobile brand and consumer-facing e-commerce site architecture and design.
  • Elegantly and efficiently balancing the integration of existing design patterns with new information architecture interaction patterns.
  • Optimizing the experience for a very specific audience of T-Mobile corporate users.
  • Synthesizing complex requirements and presenting design concepts to T-Mobile leadership.
  • Developing effective methods with visual designers to increase efficiency for integrating feedback and revisions.
